Our journey began in Buckhurst Hill, where we set up our very first veterinary clinic over five decades ago. Now serving as our main practice, this location is open six days a week and offers a full range of services, including inpatient care Monday to Thursday.

To better serve the East London community, we opened our Walthamstow branch in February 2002, located at 7 Wyatts Lane, E17, just off Wood Street. This surgery has become a valued part of the neighbourhood, offering convenient access for pet owners in Walthamstow, Highams Park, and surrounding areas.

Opened in 2009 – Your Local Vet in Hornchurch
In March 2009, we opened our Hornchurch practice – often referred to as our Romford Veterinary Surgery – to meet growing demand for expert pet care in the area. This clinic has become an essential resource for residents in Hornchurch, Romford, Elm Park, and the wider Havering borough.
Services available directly at the Romford/Hornchurch surgery include:

Joined the Group in 2022 – Expanding Our East London Reach
In July 2022, the Oakhill Veterinary Surgery in Woodford Green became part of Palmerston Veterinary Group, helping us extend our high-quality pet care to even more families across Woodford, South Woodford, and nearby areas.
This recently updated practice offers:
- Routine operations, x-rays and ultrasound scanning
- Dental treatments and day patient care
- Nutritional consultations and weight clinics
For pets requiring overnight monitoring or emergency hospitalisation, we provide seamless transfer to our Buckhurst Hill clinic, where a qualified veterinary night nurse ensures they receive attentive care throughout the night.
